I have a recent obsession with old bird cages. Like, I'm really in love with them.
I have been looking for one for the house, because I would also love very much to get two tiny finches. I would name her/him daffodil and samson.
When Hunter was younger he wanted to be an ornithologist. Is that not adorable?

aw, birdcages are so sweet. i love seeing them used in creative ways. when we were in thailand we stayed at a hotel which hung birdcages from the ceilings with lightbulbs in them. they were gorgeous! and yes, it's totally adorable that hunter wanted to be an ornithologist and that you two are thinking of getting finches. :)
